Calling all law students and recent law graduates! The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India, has announced its prestigious one-month internship programme for September 2025.

Why You Should Apply

This internship is designed to offer you hands-on experience in legal research, court functioning, and application of law across domains such as constitutional, administrative, finance, labour, contract law, arbitration, and more. Selected interns will get exposure to real cases and government procedures while working with experts in the legal field.

Key Details

  • Last Date to Apply: 11th August, 2025, 05:00 PM
  • Internship Duration: 1st September, 2025 to 30th September, 2025
  • Stipend: ₹5,000 on satisfactory completion
  • Location: Department of Legal Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi (details in the official notification)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Law students who have completed the 2nd year of a 3-year LLB course
  • Law students who have completed the 3rd year of a 5-year LLB course
  • Law graduates from any recognized university
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, infographics, Adobe, etc.) are preferred

Application Process

  • Fill out only one application form with correct details
  • Duplicate entries will lead to rejection
  • Upload necessary documents, including your No Objection Certificate (if currently enrolled) or degree certificate (if graduated)
  • 90% attendance and satisfactory work are mandatory for a completion certificate

Selection Procedure

  • Up to 50 interns are selected per batch each month
  • Shortlisted candidates are notified via email or the internship portal
